Its sad that we live in a world were people are so judgmental and finding fault towards other people, rather than holding themselves accountable. I was reading some of the post and some of the post are sickening to think that one would blame the government for their short comings. The truth of the matter is the rich are rich  because they worked hard to be in such a position. And the poor could be rich as well if they believe in themselves and don't see giving up as being an option. At the end of the day we all are in this together and we all must remember to stay focus, positive and stay from around people who view failure as being the only alternative. And with that being said keep trying and we shall all get to a level of success that we wish to reach.

Really, James Edwards?

I'm a millionaire. I live in a 1365 sq ft home, work 3 jobs about 60 hrs a week total. My wife also works 50-60 hours a week. Between income tax, property tax (we own several rental properties), and sales tax we pay about 45 percent of our salary. Insurance is well over $20,000 a year. We also give a large amount to people in need every year. Did I mention we are 57 years old and live frugally. Haven't had a vacation in years. Would you trade places with me? Do you have the self discipline and work ethic?

Who gives a crap about millionaires and their stupid homes.  If they are millionaires, then they need to help our USA get out of debts.  They probably got to be millionaires through not paying taxes and screwing over people and cheating honest people out of money.  Hope all their houses burn to ground.  If they live in California,Arizona,Colorado  then that wouldn't be a problem with all the forest fires and landslides.

The world added 2.6 million millionaire households last year, showing that the rich are getting richer—and far more numerous, according to a report released Monday.

The total number of millionaire households in the world rose 19 percent last year, to 16.3 million, according to Boston Consulting Group's Global Wealth report. Millionaire households represent 1.1 percent of all households globally.

The U.S. added the most millionaire households and has the highest total, with a gain of 1.1 million households last year. That brings the total to 7.135 million.

We elect a liberal black president and the place with the most millionaires is Los Alamos where a bunch of white people get paid to invent weapons of mass destruction.

How can liberal Democrats states be rich? Aren't they supposed to be so concerned with the poor... Shouldn't they be giving their wealth to help bring up the less fortunate??? Wouldn't a rich liberal democrats be a hypocrite???

Ultra-rich and ultra poor with no middle class. All found in Obama states.

I live in one of the poorest neighborhoods in my city. Do I begrudge the rich? Heck no, Babylon with all it's trappings may look nice, but humility and having your family around and living in the love of Yahweh Elohim Most High is its own kind of riches....Like no other!!!!!

Millionaires become millionaires because they work hard for it.  The remainder stand on the outside looking in with jealousy making stupid comments on MSN blaming our current government for their financial woes.

0bozo has done wonders for the ultra rich, where do you think all the printed money has gone?  and the poor have grown and grown to new records of poverty
Jul 2, 2014 4:16AM
the simple fact of the matter is this, the mega wealthy vote Dim...the ultra poor vote dim.  Just look at the house of reps.   the  10 poorest districts voted dim up to 90%.   About half the richest also voted Dim.   the middle voted heavily red

ASSimplicity...  pull your head out, and take a look at reality.  There is no Democrat vs Republican.  They are all the same.  If you're beloved Democrats really wanted to change things, why didn't they do it when they had the Presidency and a congressional supermajority.  They could have "fixed" anything they wanted, and there wouldn't have been a damned thing the Republicans could do about it.  But they didn't... did they?  BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL THE SAME, YOU IDIOT!  They are ALL wealthy and controlled by the mega-wealthy.  They use idiots like you to keep up the charade.  If we're all pitted against each other in this fake "battle", they know we won't be scrutinizing them like we should.  It's working very well for them.  Thanks to you.

Wow, for liberals being nothing but lazy, hand-out needing, welfare cases, they sure do have a lot of millionaires. In fact, almost all these are very Democratic cities in Democratic States. Guess if Republican's want everybody to be rich they should start with their own voters. But then again, they can't really do that if they are giving all the tax breaks to the wealthy.

Keep it up Republican's. Your tax breaks are making the rich a whole lot richer and it appears a lot of those, if not most, are hard-working Democrats :)

Want to know the difference between a Republican and a Democrat?

Well not much until they become rich. Then it becomes clear.

A rich Democrat realizes he made his fortunes from America and is happy to give back through donations and taxes if it will help his fellow Americans out.

A rich Republican also realizes he made his fortunes from America and wants to give the least amount possible back through donations and taxes because he made his money all by himself so why should he care about anybody else.
