#5: Ah, my home city. Well, I was born there. Portland is nice to visit, but I don't actually live in Portland. Trimet makes things easy to get around though. Which is nice. I live in a city just outside of Portland. You want a place to live with good views of trees and the mountain range, move to Beaverton or Hillsboro. They are smaller cities, but have a small-town feel to them. :)

Wide sidewalks...immediately followed by walkability.....Not only is that repetitive...it's redundantly repetitive.

Trouble is most people with families can't afford the space they need to live there and big city services are usually lacking (like plowing). A first ring suburb seems like a perfect alternative. Close in, but yet some space for everyone.

Sounds like these are neighborhood "must-haves" for trendy liberals.  I could have a better time in a box of cat litter.

It certainly is not that which received its first 4X4 pickup, motorcyle and has a big mouth while throwing bottles any direction and burning anything to everything for something to do at age 40!

in addition to deer or animal feeders in the back yard while parking up the front, side and rear...so one has to drive through the adjacent respectable, responsible working taxpayers boundaries...Red Neckville...know no boundaries...Heller...or filthy waters

Guess I do as well.  I only have two.  I like not seeing any neighbors or people. Just peace and quite.  Oh almost forgot, no crime.

Number one attraction-NO DOGS ALLOWED.  All it takes is ONE neglected endlessly barking dog to ruin the whole neighborhood; and it seems like EVERY neighborhood has at least one.
