FIND YOUR DREAM HOME OR APARTMENT
must-see on msn
What is needed is responsible journalism not more misleading information from MSN. Lenders base loans on your ability to pay them back not race. Home ownership is not an entitlement. Work, pay your bills on time, save money, will get you good credit and home ownership. This just shows how this administrations economic policies are hurting this county.
Most ****ing useless video and article that I have ever read. MSN news you suck
U.S. Government Is Better Than A Foreign Government Any Day Holding Mortgages Say We The People Of The U.S.A.
there is no way they will have stricter standards for minorities. this is a mistake in the article.....that would never fly........if anything minorities will have it easier.........come on.this is common sense
Who believes this will bring out the Socialist bandwagon and race-baiters once again to DEMAND that lenders give low income buyers the "chance" at the American Dream, even if they can't afford it. Sound familiar??? This kind of story will be followed up by stories of how this person and that earn so much yet can't buy a home because of....greedy bankers (likely) who have tightened standards to much and calling for action by the politicians to again enact policies that will bring us to yet another bubble causing yet another collapse.
Owning a home isn't a right, hence the "Dream". It is achievable by anyone with sound money management and hard work. If you can't afford your dream home, stop buying the newest I-phone as soon as it comes out just to have the best. Stop buying a new car every few years, going to the movies every weekend and spending $30 on a popcorn and soda or just get a second job and save that income towards a larger down payment. And for God's sake, stop accumulating credit card debt for little niceties that you "want" now. If you "WANT" a home, work towards that and put off other considerations. And, perhaps most importantly, STOP depending on DC to make your life easier. It is not DC's job to improve your life, only to protect your opportunity to improve your life yourself.
"At the same time, U.S. households are changing to include more extended families, unmarried couples and unrelated people sharing a home. Often, these households include minorities."
Why was there a need to point out that these households include minorities? Of course they do! And they include whites too. Pointing out that minorities might be harmed by the new rules, when in fact the rules have nothing to do with race, is just a way of sensationalizing the news. We already have enough real problems with racial inequities without having to start a race war over rules that have nothing to do with race.
