Many a storm door has been installed  sloppy by DIY'ers.  Here's a tip.  When you buy something at  the big box home supply store and they offer it installed for an extra cost,  take the deal.

All this stuff seems so easy when you have never done it before and you're just a writer.

Where I live,  professional paint crews will paint the outside of almost any house for about $1000 plus the paint.  If you do it,  you'll probably spill $1000 worth of paint and be extremely unhappy with the results of your work.
But if you're actually good at any of this,  then do it..........and you don't need a dumb article like this to suggest it.

Dont believe the DIY Page, most of it is totally false. The pricing is totally wrong and the time to do most of these projects are at best mostly wrong, Whoever wrote this article has never Done a project outside because i know for a fact that a Brick patio takes alot of time, ive done about 7 of them, and you need at least 6 Inchs of Roadpack not to mention about an inch of Sand for the top for the pavers. The Lawn part is wrong also, What lawncare company did you talk to, My Father does it for a living it theres no way he would charge that much. And a Pond, wow if you think your gonna get everything you need to build that pond for that price, wow Someone is living in a dreamland.
