Agreed; these are not home for 'letting the sun in'.  Wrong title here.

Homes that let sun in should include large insulated windows with tint and low E glaze, homes should have glass walls that open completely letting your outdoor living area be part of indoor.  Sky lights installed on roof for additional natural lighting.  ETC....

Living in Costa Rica, I constantly search for new inovative architectural ideas for harnising daylight in our home designs.  This page was a disapointment

Ya- these arent' homes that "let the light in". They're homes with pools- whoopty -doo! Maybe if you "live" in the pool that's outdoors- the light shines in it... Wrong title for sure!

These aren't sun homes particularly; they are homes with pools. Here in Washington, we like to let in the LIGHT. We love the sun, so give us homes (we don't need pools) that welcome the light!
