Let's see,   you can tear stuff apart safely,  sort of,  with these tools.
Aside from that you can't build one thing.
Another article written by someone who HASN'T been there,  done that.

WOW, so thought this was gonna be at least some kind of tool review of some cool stuff you'd never think of while remodeling, Just read this and all I can think is.... NO DUH!!!!

Are the people so ruined in this country that some copy and paste so called reporter thought this to be of any use? Well we are referencing  a voter base that elected the socialist clown Obozo. Next Boys and girls Al Gore will explain how the beloved mother earth is dying and by coincidence this demands Al get a large sum of money. Followed up by a economics lesson from professor Obozo he will explain why trillions of debt is a benefit to your children who face the lowest labor participation rate since 1978.

what was that squidbillies thing where the football half time show is a race between a power cord, sheet of plywood and...i forget the third hardware item.

made no sense at all.

Agree, no drill or air compressor?  No nail guns, sawzall, circular saw or levels?  The tools are basic tools to use around the house, but you need much more for a remodel if you are going to do it right.  The fact that the tool belt is included makes me think that is more of a fashion statement for men who want to look like they can actually fix something.

Well what do you know I have them all, this must mean I am a handy man, I save a lot of $$$ doing my own stuff.

Maybe 4 things on that list are a must !!!!!!

I like all the comments, kameraman's mostly.  This might be a start of a "Every home owner's tool need" but nothing near for remodeling.  Not a saw or a level in the list.

Must have been written by an MD wanting to increase visits to the ER.

I can hear it now "that wasn't on the MSN top 15 list. Why are you getting that out of your truck?"

Next is "Why will it cost that much to finish the job I have already started? I think I did the hardest part."

I'm in agreement with virtually everyone here - this is the dumbest list I have ever seen.  Not even a single screwdriver, pliers, or drill.  They list a stepladder - but what do you do with it once you climb up it? I guess use the tape & markers - but to then do what?

They list 2 Hammers ???  One will do the job - but what can you do with it without some lumber, nails and a plan?  Besides - I don't think a hammer would be in my top 15 list anyway.  These days I find screws (Kreg pocket screws especially) much more practical - and stronger - than nails.

They list a nice tool pouch - but other than the hammers - what do they expect you to put in it?  They list an extension cord without listing any power tools to plug into it.  Not to mention that these days I find battery powered tools great due to their power and portability - so no extension cord needed anyway.

What a waste of screen space.  You would think that at this time of year they would be listing some nice power tool sets - or even tool sets - as suggestions for Christmas presents, but this list is totally crazy.  What a waste.  Next time - ask me for some suggestions.

A demolition bar in your top 15 for remodeling?  Really?

A broom for cleaning up - but what mess can you make with the stepladder?

this is the dumest list ever. I mean my 5 month old knows this. Maybe MSN ran out of things to talk about.
