This response is to the Marxist who signed in as "Aggravated by Greed and Squander".  You should really get an education on how prosperous economies are run.  Without the people that buy goods and services, there is no reason for the jobs that those same goods and services create.  The extreme left wing environmentalism which you obviously espouse has taken its place with the other left wing ideologies such as Marxism (which President Obama obviously believes in), Socialism and Communism, and all of these ideologies only bring everyone down to the lowest common standard of living.  You propagate the doom and gloom that all of your ilk try to spread, attempting to find something that will shame rational people into submitting to your rigid extremist ideology, such as the so-called "man-made global warming" hysteria, which is just another myth that extremists propagate in an attempt to extort more money from the "wealthy" (code word for anyone that has a real job).  The earth has been in a cooling cycle (yes, a cycle, which means the earth goes through natural periods of warming and cooling, mostly dependent on sun spot activity) for the past 9 years, which is a little inconvenient truth that left-wing enviro-wacos try to ignore.  If we as a country were pursuing the conservative principles of limited government, lowering taxes for everyone, eliminating onerous regulations, passing tort reform legislation to prevent the trial lawyers from litigating the most inane cases and excessive damage awards that only destroy companies and which increases costs for everything, and generally giving people back their freedoms guaranteed by the constitution, we would have a booming economy.  I am very fearful for where our country is headed with the extreme left wing in currently in charge of both the executive and legislative branches.  A roundabout way of getting to my point:  Please keep your far leftist tripe to yourself, since it has nothing to do with this article.

I can't vote in the States. I'm Canadian.

And I don't agree with Al Gore!

I don't agree with carbon offset programs. They won't work!

Perhaps you should read the entire post before condemning it.

Also, I restate: American states are suffering from lack of water resources and you continue to ignore it to your own detriment.

Pools to swim in but no water to drink! Nice!

Maybe if I had a ton of money to spare I'd do this. These houses are gorgeous.

With super storms, and natural resources (including fresh water) becoming a commodity that most countries are striving to maintain, how can you be so obtuse?

There are rivers that are going dry in America. They have the problem with maintaining enough water in Lake Mead that supplies Las Vegas, etc.. Visit: www.uswaternews.com/archives/arcsupply/arcsupply.html to see just how bad it's getting all over the States.

It's boiling down to those states that have water in abundance telling other states, "NO! If you want our water, move here! We are not shipping our water to you!"

What is wrong with these pictures? They prove that the rich still overindulge and are using too much water in areas where it is a limited resource! A POOL in Los Angeles? Hello? They drained one lake dry already!

In a time of moderation why would you show this crap?

What is their carbon-footprint? MSN Home and Garden - Improve and Repair staff obviously don't know or don't care!

These people think buying carbon offset programs can solve the problem of their using too many resources. Why don't they learn that you can't undo the damage! Why does MSN promote this overindulgence?

Please show responsible people instead of these overindulgent, repugnant idiots!

One irritated MSN reader!
