FIND YOUR DREAM HOME OR APARTMENT
There is no point in being jealous of some people paying huge rents . In olden days many kings and rich land lords were living in big palaces/mansions etc.
Contentment is happiness. Let us be happy with what we have or what God has provided us.
Mere wealth does not bring happiness. You may observe many wealthy are not able to enjoy what they have because they have ailments which prohibit them even from taking normal diet.
So "Health is Wealth" who ever he or she be, be a millionair or poor.
I have great admiration for people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and others like them. They know that they are the fortunate ones and have the responsibility of "giving back". As average, everyday people we just get on with our lives and do the best we can. We don't have to look at the lifestyles of the rich and famous with envy. We can count our own blessings and be grateful to God that we have what we have.
Funny how it sometimes disturbs the middle class on how the lower class gets on welfare, or how the lower class thinks that the middle class is holding them down. There is a very big gap from the upper middle class / rich people and those who can afford to rent these places. This clever economic class feud designed by the bankers and few of the other top wealthiest people who make the decisions keep you blinded on how nice they really have it, and how we are just slaves to the debt we are in. I am glad that members of Congress are finally receiving a little bit of heat for their self serving spoiled child like ways.
For the rest of us, do not worry about the treasures these people have here on Earth for they already received their reward...
Funny how the media has thrown this in our face- from lifestyles of the rich.. to cribs, to housewives of bev hills. And the sad thing is people actually watch this junk, which gives the rich an even bigger ego and makes us average people feel worse about our own situation. I have always said if i came into money i would be the first to give and give, and keep a relatively 'NORMAL' life.
I want to see more of the wealthy doing something other than spend on lavish lifestyles, lets make heros out of those who build new schools or give millions to scholarships, do something important!
Bill Gates comes to mind and those who recently gave away part of their wealth as an act of humanity. My boss, who is a millionaire, complains constantly about not having enough- to me who makes 23,000 a year. He even went so far as dicontinuing college scholarships through the business because times are tough. It's all relative, Sell one of your houses or some of the property you own in Aspen!
What is weird is that you work to pay off a mortgage made up of imaginary money that does not actually exist, by some Capitalist who leveraged what was in his vault. So even if 90% of us walked away from our mortgages the actual amount of money in the vault does not change a bit. The Upper Class capitalist actually loses ONLY make believe money over your enoromous angst when you default. and he forecloses. AND he gets yoiur house a very REAL asset, unlike his imginary dough. Some day they will look back and call it all a bizarre sort of ponzi scheme economy rife with the ability for fraud.
For example the Drug lords could start their OWN bank, satisfy all the regulators and then simply 'loan" out 17 dollars for every one they put in the vault to proxies and then buy up a whole bunch of very real assets with that huge wad of make believe money. Sweet!
We already know that at least two billion people live in acute poverty on this planet. What we do not truly know is that there is a much bigger reality with extremes in the way we live .
Now, I know there are some people, with so much money, they can afford to pay 250 thousand dollars per month to rent a fine house. Why do they do this? I don't know for sure. All I know is that it is something I will never do even if I had the money. Then, again, it would depend on my personal circumstances -- circumstances we would have to consider when we look at anyone who does such a thing.
His economic and life style may require it or, at the least , make sense for him.
I do know one thing, however. It is not appropriate for people to sit down on their big butts and snipe at people who do live such a life style.
It is quite obvious that some people snipe at such people out of jealousy, jealousy they psychologically converted into hate. In that respect, that reaction is a psychiatric disorder.
I also noticed that some people frequently criticize and snipe at other people for being mentally ill when, in truth, they are the ones with the psychiatric issues -- jealousy converted into hate (among other things) -- but too stupid to realize it.
