Welcome to the redesigned MSN Real Estate. We’ve made site-wide changes to improve the content we deliver to you, as well as how and when we deliver it. With the most comprehensive real-estate listings online, compelling tools and advice, we aim to help you with all your real-estate needs.
Improvements include new topic centers, highlighted slide shows on centers, video that loads right on the page, expert advice and better site navigation.
Fresh, modern and simple
The most obvious changes are aesthetic. We wanted to create a warm and simple design that makes your experience with us more inviting: earthy green and brown colors, easier-to-read text and a more vibrant visual experience with larger photos. We hope you like what you see and will take a moment to provide your feedback.
More of the content you want
MSN Real Estate has paid close attention to what's popular with our visitors, and we've expanded our centers to give you more of what you like. In addition to our usual stable of content to help you with buying and selling, renting, home improvement, financing and moving, our new topic centers include:
- Small Spaces: ideas and practical how-to's for living large in fewer square feet;
- Before & After: exciting remodels, from kitchens and baths to entire homes;
- First-time Buyers: helpful tips and advice for the new home buyer;
- Home Valuation: information and tools for understanding and improving your home's value, along with interesting stories on what home values are doing throughout the U.S.;
- Flowers & Plants: articles, video and slide shows to inspire your creativity in the garden; and
- Green Living: everything you need to enhance your eco-friendly life.
In the last six months, we've also added many new content providers and have drastically increased the amount of new real-estate content we publish for you on a regular basis.
Easier to find what you need
Despite the increase in the volume of content, it will actually be easier for you to discover what you're looking for because of the site's improved navigation. The new site structure should help you find answers to your real-estate questions in an efficient manner. We've also added a new Tools center that puts all of our great interactive services in one place, and index pages that give you easy access to the wealth of content that's available on the site, such as this one for the Home & Garden center. (You can see all the indexes listed on our site map.)
There's exciting technology powering the back end of our new site that helps serve up relevant content, no matter what topic you're delving into. As soon as we publish a new story, slide show or video, you'll instantly be able to access it from multiple locations throughout the site, whether you're reading a related article or viewing a slide show or topic center.
