pathetic before and after pics! The are NOT of the same angles, walls, and probably not even the same homes! STUPID, dumb, unrealistic, and a waste of my time! Does ANYONE buy into the fallacies of these ridiculous articles? I find it hard to imagine something so pathetically-lame to make it past the editors.  Oh wait! I just checked...MY BAD, it was another MSN piece of news-trash I stumbled upon somehow.

They ARE nice pics of finished basements, but completely irrelevant when most of them are not even of the same spaces on the before'n'afters! (instead, should've shown what creatively was done with furnaces, breaker-boxes, wash/dryer sets, etc during the so-claimed spruce-ups!)

Did I say yet, that this was a really lame letdown for time I spent to scroll thru the pics to see if anything actually looked believable, and therefore impressive?!

And NO, you didn't win marketing leverage with me, cuz the lack of your credibility had me speed thru the pages to get to ability to state my frustrations in the comments here, and move on.  DOH!

*sigh*

Looks great...until there is a sewer backup in the line up the street from you.  Or the tiny plastic hose to your icemaker upstairs cracks while you are at work.  Or you get a substantial rain event like in Colorado.  So much for all of the fancy flooring.

Most of these are not even the same room or wall. Take photo's from the same location if you want to show what was actually done.....

"Cement floors"? Cement is the powdered compound which when mixed with water, sand and aggregate becomes concrete. Was the floor cement or concrete?

I wish I had that much ceiling height to work with in our basement.. After seeing some of those, I feel like I wasted my time doing what I did in it..
