Float homes in the right location are awesome! Coal Harbour in Vancouver B.C has some of the most beautiful views and they are affordable for that city.

Stay away from Georgia the people are very selfish, the job are not worth the lil money. Traffic is terrible. This is not the place to be there a lot of better places to live that's worth it.

We are far behind when it comes to new ideas regarding floating homes..

Several other countries have had this system since the 70's, however we are always last to get started..

No comments in the article about the smells you might be subjected to? Worse, there may be no way to control/escape from anything that drifts your way. Fish, garbage, human and animal wastes, industrial by products, with plenty of fertilizer run-off; yummy!

I have met many folks who live on boats here in San Diego. They are all very wonderful people. Unfortunately, they get accustomed to the smells of living in the bay. They often don't notice when something doesn't smell quite right, if you know what I mean.

If you buy one of these, be sure to buy a respirator and plenty of bleach!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, think of a dirty, smelly, fish aquarium left discarded on the sidewalk in the summertime. Yum Yum!
