No comments in the article about the smells you might be subjected to? Worse, there may be no way to control/escape from anything that drifts your way. Fish, garbage, human and animal wastes, industrial by products, with plenty of fertilizer run-off; yummy!
I have met many folks who live on boats here in San Diego. They are all very wonderful people. Unfortunately, they get accustomed to the smells of living in the bay. They often don't notice when something doesn't smell quite right, if you know what I mean.
If you buy one of these, be sure to buy a respirator and plenty of bleach!
If you don't know what I'm talking about, think of a dirty, smelly, fish aquarium left discarded on the sidewalk in the summertime. Yum Yum!
