Was the artical written by a jounalist instructed by some local tourist association?

I think it'd be an interesting thing to write an article about well-known people (not just movie stars)  who live in small towns, rural areas, or somewhat unusual place other than big cities.  I live on the Gulf Coast and I understand there are about 8 movie stars that live close by in Fairhope, AL.  Please do an update on this sometime soon.  Let us know who lives on the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Destin, FL.

Here you go again MSN.  Do you ever read the comments on these lame **** guessing game articles?  Here's what I do:  I either hover over the link and read the answer at the bottom, or I open up a new tab and GOOGLE the answer.  Either way, I'm not using Bing.  you lose.

"Icons"?  No.  "Legends?" No.  Celebrities...I suppose so and so what?  If you have the $ you can liver anywhere.  MSN can't seem to write an article without "icon/iconic" or "legend/legendary".

Firstly, some of these "small towns" are actually suburbs of much larger cities.  Seattle is a small town?  Come on.  I guess not using misleading information is no longer taught in journalism schools.

Secondly, I refuse to click on your links just to boost your Bing hits so you can say you get more traffic than Google.  Underhanded tricks are insulting to your readers and will cost you in the long run.

MSN, if your going to entice us to click and look at a headline article then show us the good, not your BS oh now click here to find out...F/U and your current methods, they suck and I'm not clicking so figure out some other way to do your money grabbing advertising!!

You present these small towns like their real affordable to live in, 800 acre ranch in Jackson Wyo., yeah ok lets see of my check will hold enough zeros to cover the deal. Oh thats right MSN- Bill Gates, I got it, money is no object, NOT..!!

Whattttta 'nother crock MSN!! I didn't click the headline to play a juvenile guessing game & click 10 more sites - SHOW who lives where like your headline implies you will do! So I can go and juvenile stuff of my choosing.

Add Dick York (Bewitched) to that, as he retired to my home town of Rockford, Michigan. I actually met him once an number of years ago while shopping at an nearby grocery store and found him to be an real down-to-earth person.

A lot of the celebrity sorts live in small towns...where they blend in and are just every day folk. The fact that no one knows this is a testament to the communities they live in...that people in those places just accept them for who they are...not making a big deal about what they do for a living.

So Harrison Ford has been in movies for 6 decades? Since the 1950's? People need to do a little fact checking on these articles...
Jun 9, 2014 5:37PM
That information was pretty interesting.  I guess you never know who you might meet in smaller towns and cities (like Harrison Ford in Jackson Wyoming).  I wonder if the Seattle area (particularly the Everett or Snohomish areas) has celebrities.  I know about Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Seattle Mariners and Seahaws, but how about Hollywood celebs?
I just right click the line that tells me "Which celeb calls this town home" and select open in new tab and the tab gives me the answer without visiting Bing.  Then I close the tab.  Presto.   MSN, you failed at promoting Bing and Bing sucks,  GOOGLE is better.

Medina, WA? It is a mile away from Seattle, and a few miles away from downtown Bellevue (a large suburb of Seattle) that is also only a couple miles from the city of Seattle.
