Personally I am happy for people who can afford to live like this!  I can't, but I certainly do not begrudge others who can!  This is America, and if someone is talented enough to earn that kind of money...I say "go for it!"  Congrats!!    Problem is... we have a bunch of "whiners and complainers" who love to watch MSNBC and sit around and bitch and feel sorry for themselves and jealous of others!

Homes for the 1% . . . no thanks!  I'll stick with what I can afford and not be tempted into buying something that ultimately 99% can't afford.  We're already paying for that failed ideology . . . well the 99% are.

Seriously, to me this article is just showing how old features can be installed into new homes. Yes, they are talking about a very expensive home, however that doesn't mean these features can't be incorporated into a home of modest cost! Just because there are people in America with a lot of money doesn't mean that we should all be jealous of them. Some of them had to work hard to get where they are, just like the rest of us. Take this article for the beauty it offers and ignore the price tag. Just because these ideas were used in an expensive home doesn't mean they are expensive. It is the season of good will toward men so be good to your neighbors who may have more than you because someday you could have just as much or more.

what is wrong with all you babies?   Grow a pair and stop crying about how most cant do this or I cant do that!  All of you are the reason this country is struggling. The usa has turned into a sad place. Why do you think someone owes you something.    Go out and get some!!!   Some day I hope I can buy a nice house....... until that day I will keep working hard and doing my best

I can't afford these beautiful homes, and who cares! It's just decorating ideas.  I'm proud of what I have. I worked hard for it and I keep it nice. If everyone worked as much as they whine and paid attention to their own accomplishments they might be satisfied with what they have.

On the bright side, building these houses gave a lot of work to illegal immigrants.

The house shown at twilight with the pond in front looks like it was designed by a Disney cartoonist.  That's not meant as a compliment.

Just because we all cant afford nice fancy homes doesnt mean everyone has to leave negative comments because some people can... I am struggling but am happy for those who arent and it doesnt bother me one bit to look at nice homes. Goodness people!! There are alot of messed up things in this world and its a shame how it is but each and every one of us is in charge of our own lives and paths we take. It makes me shake my head to see how spiteful and jealous people are.

Not everybody is a victim of the economy. Like the poor, we will always have the rich among us.  While I can't afford any of these homes, It's fun and free to dream.

Really?  As the country quickly slips from recession into depression, MSN/Real estate feels that this is what the American people most want to know about when it comes to housing issues.

"Up-to-date mansions with vintage styling"

God forbid; who would ever want an out of date MANSION.

Maybe, one of the millions of Americans that lost their home in the "foreclosure" scandal.
