Why would you hate on these folks because they are wealthy?

These folks worked hard, got smart, and figured life out.  It isn't the money that makes them rich--it's their decisions, hard work, talent or wisdom, or a mixture of these.  You can take all their money away right now... and a few years later they will most likely be wealthy again... because its attitude, hard work and smarts.  And yes this is generally speaking--it isnt' always the case, but for the most part it is, just like every other class.

It seems as if the only way the rest of America can make money is by taking it from the people who legitimately earn it.  If the upper class didn't exist, then our economy would collapse because people like you wouldn't have anything or anyone to leech from.  Also, since you dont have what it takes to make money and be successful in the first place, you have only yourselves to blame.  And knowing how the left operates... rather than having good order, discipline, and any kind of structure whatsoever, they would just find something or someone to blame because all you folks do is copout rather than fix problems and find ways.

If seeing people enjoy their earned wealth makes you sick, then stop supporting them by going to their movies or buying their products stupid!

aww come on, 2 thumbs down just because i said that 2 people in this article have it "together"?, my heart is broken:( . i find it so funny that after i wrote that post, i then scrolled down to look ta what people said-never doing that again. i cant believe there are so many comments based on someone having wealth and the people posting do not. I actually have no wealth, yet jealousy for it does not exist in my life. It seems that america still hasn't learned their lesson from the collapse and the "I deserve" nation still exists alive and well. (by the way another is on its way-cough/cover mouth/ Dow at 17,000! that number's total make believe people-. its an unheard of number and i don't know one person who actually is invested in the stock market right now) wake up nothing lasts forever, and the lesson from the collapse was: when adversity knocks you down, you stare it in the eye and take a bit back! everyone i knew went work! hard work! hard labor, we dug ditches, planted shrubs, picked up trash and made it happen, all to just have another chance at the American dream and bet on their abilities and take a chance one more time. stop putting your hands out and start being the squeaky wheel, you will get the grease if your the one working hardest. just look at Dre and Downy Jr. they both have looked adversity in the eye and made it past what they both went through, Dre to come from poverty and also deal with the loss of a direct family member, yet he fought on and took matters into his own hands and now he can do the work he loves. same with Downy, Hollywood cast him out as an outcast never to return yet fought his personal demons (which can be the worst kind) fought the critics of L.A. (which can be the worst kind) and climbed his way back to the position he's in. dont be hateraid just be like mike. just do it. get your butt to work and make it happen your self.

ever notice how stars only buy homes that are crappy architecture, its like they never even researched what it means to "dwell" and that the outside should be an extension of the inside and the property should encompass all facets of the design. even rihannas house say's "Hey everyone look at how different and exotic my taste it" but it really only lends itself to be some idiot architects-"i dont know what to draw here, so ill just add a bunch of curves and overhangs"- design. the only stars in this ensemble that have any class, taste, and eye for structure and form, are Robert Downy and Dr. Dre. Downy deserves the award for speading out the assets and buy what he needs/"use" and not what he wants ac  complete utilitarian by nature-he will survive in this age. and Dr for having and eye for classic contemporary showing what was spoken above as "structure and form".
you both get my nod' for taste and style in life, i should know i design houses for the rich every day, there just for CEO's and such a different animal all together.
Have a nice day!

Looks like some big carbon footprints. Don't they know the world has a global warming, climate change, climate disruption crisis. Apparently they haven't been listening to Al Gore & Obama.

Maybe the republicans will want to raise taxes on the rich now that they see most of the rich are democrats...LOL
Jul 17, 2014 8:51AM
...??? Eat your heart out poor republicans..
Jul 15, 2014 10:12AM
The people who come on here complaining & whining about wealth distribution, liberalism etc. are the most HATEFUL BITTER individuals this nation has & need to just move away. You don't like it? Like you used to say of foreigners, then "Get out"!

Have a nice day angry people! LMAO!!!

It looks like an Obama-Democrat donor list.   Sure, it's those rich Republicans that are out of touch.  Consider that these are not their primary residences and it really shows that they are the ones out of touch.

These are the homes of the "Evil Rich".......I thought we are supposed to hate these people. Anyway, do you think these folks know what it's like to struggle? Wonder how they will pay the rent or feed their kids? Why in the hell would ANYONE take political advise from these people?....Ask yourself that next time looney George Clooney or Sean Penn open their stupid f#ckin' mouths.

24.5 mil for an empty lot???  does it set on a oil reserve?  someone please explain.  it wouldnt cost that much if you bought a square city block in Manhattan, or 50 acres in the Hamptons, and this is just long island.

Stated these were celebrity homes yet not one is being lived in by said celebrity. Typical MSN CRAP.

Why is Robert Downey Jr.'s modest home so expensive?  Is it because it belongs to him?  I would like to see the inside of that place.

Thanks for rubbing in our faces what most of us can't afford.

The house that Robert Downey, Jr. owns is very understated for his celebrity status, though the excerpt indicates that he has other residences too. Bruno Mars backyard is lovely.  Nice swimming pool.

I love how the media simultaneously criticizes the wealthy while glamorizing the wealth of celebrities.
Jul 15, 2014 5:09AM
For earning so much these so-called 'celebs' sure are stupid with money.  Real estate is a total waste of money and this article proves it.

"Homes of 10 of the most powerful celebs"

Who is stupid enough to ascribe power to media faces?

Most of which are narcissistic, hedonistic, self righteous yet immoral degenerates... and whose lives, despite their supposed power have not helped others, just themselves.

And most of these Obama supporters, like Bon Jovi and DeGeneres are not redistributing their wealth.
