Oh come now don't hate all of California without naming where you are from. Where else can you Visit a Major US City, Go to the Snow in the mountains, Go Surfing, Visit a desert, Gamble in Tahoe. See a Hockey Game Baseball Basketball And dont Forget Football. Take a wine trail, See Nascar, Horse races, Even eat in Hollywood if that's your thing. Disneyland San Diego Zoo. Eat cuisine from every culture on the planet just about. And hell even ride horses and go gold panning. Visit world class museums. Yosemite, See an Opera or major show. And the list goes on all without Leaving this Great State.
I am California born Have visited other states and while they are nice and different. They are not the same. But hey if you don't like it you can leave more room for the ones who know how to afford a higher standard of living. Through hard work and creativity. And an education. Just saying. Yes the pace is faster, But that's the challenge.

Doug W. and Victor V. These guys have the right idea. They both make the exact arguments that I would regarding this topic. Did you 2 guys get a load of the 'attractive 30 yr old doctor'? she's exactly who cares about these types of things. let's face it, Facebook is a neat little toy for people who've got no social skills whatsoever, yet still love to say 'I've got 300 friends!" Other than that,what good has it done the human race? It makes people who are fat,suddenly skinny. People who are boring and have no sense of adventure now become Indiana Jones. People who are 40 yrs old are now 25! It goes on and on. The human Race has already become dangerously reliant on technology, and ironically enough with more technology and the easier it becomes to communicate? The farther apart we are all drifting. So, to act as if the creator of Facebook is some type of God's gift to the Human Race who's made some major contribution worthy of all those Billions of dollars? How about paying our teachers a microbe of what they're worth? Maybe the kids of today would actually know how to spell and count! And to the 'Good Dr' looking for love with a rich guy? REALLY? Where do you practice so NO ONE I know EVER brings their 'ANYONE' to you.. Tell a starving child with parents who can't read or right that you need more money that you already make as a Dr... I'm sure they'll feel your pain. You deserve to shack up with one of these morons with money!

The reporter makes a sweeping statement that these so called tech titans are shaping our lives. Now, let's see...I do not see these titans care one iota about how the average American lives or whether the person has a job, or whether the elusive American dream is still achievable by generations to come. Merely providing time-passing social networking tools does NOT shape how average people live and dream.
Some day, this bubble of the tech titans and their magnificent social networking tools will burst, much akin to the Dot Com bust.

Who fricken cares where these folks live! The only people who do are the envious ones that will never have **** in there life. You don't like it..too bad...we made our bed where we allow small groups of people to accumulate unimaginable piles of money to piss away...and we are also the ones who allow tens of thousands of kids let alone adults, (yes adults get hungry too) to starve in this country. Why don't you concrete jungle lovin asses who write this crap get a real education and write about the other 99.9999% of the people in this country!!!!
