The New York real-estate maven closed on seven apartments in the Plaza Hotel, which had been newly renovated and converted into condo units, reportedly to create a full-floor spread.

The 113-year-old, 50-foot-wide limestone townhouse encompasses more than 20,000 square feet. In 2006, this sale set a record for the most expensive home transaction in New York. Since then, it has been resold at a loss: Art dealer Larry Gagosian purchased it in 2011 for $36.5 million.

Seller: Estate of the William Moore family, late founders of Kelly-Moore Paint Co.
Thanks to state laws, the final sale price of this 124,000-acre operational ranch is undisclosed and unconfirmed. The estate boasts a 10,000-square-foot main house with indoor pool, horse stables, nearly 4,500 heads of cattle, extensive water rights and substantial agricultural capacity for small grain crops and alfalfa hay.
