OK, so the Bush policies were unbalanced towards corporations and therefore there is a recovery??
You call this a recovery?? I don't hate Obama. I hate what he is doing. Jobs are going to China because excess regulation and taxation DRIVING THEM THERE.
Get a clue. Did your college education include Econ 101??
Where does the power come from? In case of a nuclear attack the air would be contaminated for years and a conventional power plant needs oxygen. Also, how can air be effectively filtered?
And the fuel, where is it stored and how many years can it last?
Ok, so I guess the ability to spell and use proper grammar are things of the past....
How about this: Don't beat them, join them. Come up with the next Microsoft Corporation. All you have to do is work hard, put money aside to invest into your idea, gather investors, have your product made, bring it to market, survive all the risks, and hope it makes a profit. Then, make your product or service into something people want worldwide and find the means to make it happen on that sort of scale.
Of course, once you do all this, you'll be the bad guy. You now owe everyone in the country a job at whatever wage they want regardless of their qualifications. You'll be branded a tax dodger, since "everyone knows corporations don't pay taxes." You took all the risks and those who did absolutely nothing for it get the rewards. Hmmm. Doesn't really sound all that fair to me.
Would I live in one of those houses? Absolutely not. I have a whole list of charities that would get the money before I moved into a house like that. But why all the jealousy and ignorance?
These towns are a secret? Then how is it we all know about them?
Maybe with the exercise of a little thought the author could have titled this, "Little-known Towns of the Super Rich."
(Yes, Jessi, it really is two words, not one.)
Cool, I live in Saratoga! But who hasn't heard of Saratoga?? It mean, it's pretty well known for the track and horses.. Anyway....I love it here, it's a very beautiful area to live in!
And my BIL is from Monticello- but Monticello is kind of a hick-town.
Only 350 people...if only I could hold a free class and talk some sense into them, if only. Of course if the other 6 billion people on this planet would say enough is enough and forced those 350 or so people to "play fair" then my job would be much easier. If only those 6 billion or so people did not agree to work for less then they are worth then those 350 or so people could not have as much as they do, but when you agree to work for 1000 times less then they make then they will have a 1000+ times more then you do, simple math.
It is why it matters how much rich people make in comparison to other people and why their earnings/wealth needs to be kept in check with taxes. What else limits how much money they can acquire? They must be some limiting factor or else they break the system and run it dry by sucking up all the money. We now have a vacuum up economy instead of the old trickle down.
If they make way more money then they spend the economy will have problems, simple math. How else to we feed these bottomless pits that gives nothing in return? If you make more then you spend you are leeching off the system and forcing others to work harder just to support you and your wealth.
As you acquire more money it becomes easier to make even more money, which is WRONG, and hurts the economy/system even more. As you get more and more money it needs to be harder to make even more money instead of becoming easier like it is now. If not there is nothing that can supply that demand and the system fails like it already has started to. High income rate rates for the super rich are needed to make it harder to make even more money and take away some of the incentive since you 350 ALREADY HAVE WAY MORE THEN EVERYONE ELSE DOES. What does even more get you when most of it sits in a bank or market doing nothing?
BTW what are you 350 going to do with the extra money that you all seem to want? What are you going to buy with it? Nothing at all you say and you just want it to have MORE of it huh...? "The love of money is the root of evil", the addiction to it. That is the definition of an addict btw, someone who wants more of something even if it hurts those around them, they will stop at nothing to get MORE of what ever they are addicted to like a mindless robot. So much for being smarter then others when you are a f***ing robot that cannot think or act for themselves. If you could think or act for yourselves then this country would not be in the mess it is now, since you would be better leaders and not the mindless robots that people in other countries USE like TOOLS.
I would much rather not have to hunt down my fellow humans and would much rather have a discussion/class with them instead, but I and others will do what it takes to survive.
"Man is not free unless government is limited" - Ronald Reagan.
It is small government that lets all the BIG things be possible. GO TEA PARTY!!
Capitalists believe in private profits, public costs... They get the profits, the rest of us taxpayers get to pay the bills
Why do most Americans believe in the conservative philosophy?
Most Americans believe in small government, yet they love big cars, big houses, big explosions, big guns, big muscles, big ttits, big ddicks, big aasses, big bank accounts, big buildings, big roller coasters, big TVs, big trucks, big vans, big dogs, big knives, big steaks, big cigars, big football players, big basketball players, big baseball players, big paychecks, big churches, big airplanes, big tanks, big jets, big bombs, big robots, big spaceships, big car crashes, and big oorgasms.
Most Americans believe in being fiscally responsible, yet they waste money on worthless **** like cars, houses, boats, vacations, clothes, jewelry, watches, shoes, prostitutes, dinners, iPhones, iPods, Macs, PCs, porn DVDs, CDs, Jesus dildos, and books written by retards.
Most Americans believe in being pro-life, yet they murder doctors, lawyers, teachers, judges, nurses, homosexuals, heterosexuals, Blacks, Whites, Iraqis, Cubans, Asians, Mexicans, Afghans, Iranians, Russians, Germans, and Pakistanis.
Most Americans don’t follow one pucking area of the conservative philosophy, yet there are Why?
Because most Americans would rather help some rich, powerful white Wall Street CEO buy his seventh mansion than help some poor, weak, homeless get health care
