FYI, investing in a home does not make one a "realtor." A Realtor is a licensed real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Note the uppercase R: The word is a trademark.

I think its sad they posted this on the front page of MSN. People are hurting enough as it is, and this just seems sleazy. Lets all joyfully profit from others misfortunes shall we?

Umpteen good deals. But another caveat. Can you deal with knowing you're investing in someone else's tragedy of losing their home?

Here, we have a sale on the steps of the courhouse every tuesday. It's crazy, all you need is 5% down and you can buy foreclosure properties. There are over 800 properties going up in the next few weeks. So many, that the vulture investors can't digest them all. Good deals are had for sure, but risks still remain because in most cases, you can't go in the home before you buy it.
