Painting is economical and easy to do, so why not experiment? The trick is to get out of your comfort zone. While picking a color, pick one that is a shade bolder than what you felt is "safe".

One elegant style is to paint three sides of a room white and the fourth a royal red color. Put up black shelves on the red wall for your artwork. Contrast is what you're looking for here.

This is not a good article for many reasons. This is set to sell hock products and services. These photographs are inconsistent with angle of shot. They remove apliances and do not show what happened to them. Example it makes no sence to remove the dishwasher and the stove range top then put a table and 2 bench seats there. What happened to the apliances? Try and be real with these articles and put an end to the prostitution.

Your suntali (above) is fantastic. My neighbour did # 8 exactly some years ago and it looked great. All the others are great ideas but I particularly like # 11 and intend to try at asap. Thanks.

OUr condo is old and there isnt alot we can do to remodel.. So i decided to paint.. each room transformed with double color schemes and fresh paint! WE removed the floors.. a very inexpensive enhancement with vinyl and it just remade the whole place!! I think we spent under $300 for the three rooms and i still have two more to do..The paint seems to cost more than the floors. Im doing all the labor myself! It made a big difference and feels like a new place!

I wanted to recommend spending a little more for a higher quality paint that comes with the primer in it.. IT was spectacular, SOOO easy to apply , no double coatings and it just made the job so easy.. and DO invest in a long handled roller set to do the ceilings.. its a smash and makes all the difference in the rooms..!! IT was so easy standing on the middle of the floor.. only some minor touch ups with a $1.00 edger and $3.00 brush were needed for on a ladder work it was GREAT! I believe the investment in the more expensive paint made all the difference in the ease of the paint job we did ourselves!

Transformation for only $400.00. I just repainted four rooms and replaced floors with new armstrong tiles. I was surprised that they have such BEAUTIFUL Patterns and quality if tops! It cost like $30.00 to do a small bathroom and $50.00 to do the kitchen. I found a lovely Terrazzo tile and there were so many that looked like Tile and stone. very Nice! I did two tones on color and would HIGHLY recommend this fantastic BAER paint. It was NON DRIP , NON SMELL AND ONE COAT . The ceiling was a SNAP!! AMAZING.. I got most of the rooms done in about a day.
Baer has a primer in it and it DOES cost a little more people around $33.00 a gallon but saved TONS OF TIME AND CLEANUP!! REALLY WORTH THE PRICE!! We covered DARK kitchen cabinets in ONE COAT!! I WAS AMAZED to a white paint! I do recommend clear laquer on Vanaties and cabinets under the kitchen sink to protect it from water drippage!
