Regardless of any negative talk about Las Vegas Real Estate,, these are truly amazing times to buy a home. Consider some basics here,, paying rent is higher than mortgage payments in most cases, its cheaper to buy then build in most cases and investors
are able to cash flow better on Real Estate investments than what the banks will pay them in interest on there money sitting in bank accounts.

There are still multiple offers going down on homes priced under 150k,  and when the r.e.o inventory becomes less in volume in some time to pass,, regular home owners will be able list and sell there homes for prices they come up with on there own steaming
from the greed of there minds and if they  have no r.e.o homes for sale in there immediate subdivisions to off set that greed ,, appraisers will have a new challenge of coming up with values to get those loans to go through.

Thank God for investors and first time buyers buying all these homes up,, otherwise they would remain empty and vandalized.

I agree - awful site - liked the old one better than this thing.  Was really interested in the top 10 and couldn't find anything other than the obvious - Las Vegas.

I have heard some pretty stupid remarks being in the real estate business for 25 years, but nothing quite as incompetent as the visionary who said it would take at least 20 years for some of the real estate prices to increase  before the downward spiral began, between Las Vegas and Anaheim 90,000 workers will be employed building the new high speed rail system, construction is still going ahead on the strip, investors do not invest 9 billion dollars on City Center, unless they were sure that Las Vegas had growth patterns, and that tourists are returning, there are still great numbers of people coming to live here.and the real estate market will take  hefty upward swings within the next 3 years, although according to City Hall my house has been reduced in value,if i was to put it on the market today i would get exactly what i paid for it 5 years ago,and may be 50% more,so before you panic the whole nation get your facts straight.

I HATE the new MSN homepage.... Constantly blinking articles... click to read something like this TOP10!... scroll down, scroll down to junk junk junk.  Should NOT be this difficult to look at a story.  It's not a freakin' easter egg hunt!  Not worth my time to hunt down something.  Easier to read the newspaper.  It does not flash banners and blinking... doing constant scanning to find and finish what I initially wanted to see.

The new MSN home page designers have got to be teenagers w/ ADHD.  The kind that never stop texting, and listening to the I-pod, while chewing gum, talking to someone and doing their homework ...all at the same time!!!!!!   I'm 40somethin and your annoying as hell!!

Americans like to buy high and sell low.  China is snapping up US properties in record rate now.  Where do you think all these negative news are coming from?

Americans are dumb.
