I give these people for thier imagination and fullfilment a great big ten,10!

Most of these are piece-o-crap eye soars. An aircraft has virtually ZERO insulation to either cold OR HEAT. Aircraft systems use incredible amounts of jet fuel...yes jet FUEL...which is were the high volume air comes from to run...in this case...two air conditioning "packs" when the aircraft WAS a viable aircraft. (And yes folks. I REALIZE the NEW 727 owner won't have 3 Pratt and Whitney JT-9's to power or air-condition her FREAKING home!!!) What does this have to do with this persons "green" (LOL) house. Aircraft ARE NOT insulated from the eliminates as so to keep it LIGHT...so IT CAN FLY! DAH! She would have to spend just as much money and probably MORE then a FUEL EFFICIENT HOME and create just as much green house gases...to make the home livable. (Heat or air-conditioning) PLUS...there's ZERO room to install typical home insulation, sprayed in or otherwise...in an airliner UNLESS...you SIGNIFICANTLY shrunk the interior "living space." This article is nothing more than idiots showing off DUMB **** ideas. IDIOTS who think living like child in forts and tree-houses is "green." MORONIC DUMB ARSES!!!!

Here in McMinville, OR, they are using an old 747 as the launching point for a water slide park next to the museum that houses the spruce goose.

Hope that is not a public lake or river. At least in thoughtful (imo) water communities they have stopped uglying up the shore lines by requiring set backs. While I don't like intrusive rules.....shorelines really have become unsightly in the last two decades because of the homes built right on the shore.
