It would be ridiculous if it weren't true. Grown people moving to a specific place because of a silly game - yet I know people who live and breathe football. And not just professional football but teenagers playing football. Step back and look dispassionately: Illiterate thugs making more money in a year than your household will see in a lifetime. Taxpayers (YOU) subsidizing games in college (and high school, by the way), rather than education. Entire institutions and towns built around 15-20 games a year played by 30 teenage kids. Other students, families, the entire town - are supposed to worship them and plan their lives around what the sports heros are doing. These thugs, the overhyped teenagers, team owners, the schools, the merchandisers only care about separating you from your money and laughing all the way to the bank. What really do you think you owe them? Your life?
Dudes, you obviously haven't been to some of these cities, there are some nasty cities included here.
College Station? Go there and not base your article on a phone bub. Best thing to come out of there is Highway 6.
But Dixie Chicken is good.
Gainesville should be the worst. Fans are NOT southerners, Rude, hateful and throw bottles.
I can see this will be a thumbs down fest for what ever place you mention. I have been to Lincoln on a Saturday, fun place to be. I have been to Columbus, North Bend, Norman, Pasadena and lots of other places too. I had a great time at all of them, more so when my team won.
This was billed as an article for adults. Can we stop with the thumbs down on anywhere that isn't your teams home field!
