Sometimes people should not say anything since their money didn't pay for it. Look at how the stars spend their money on houses, but everybody thinks they look so good. So what it use to be a post office. A building can be anything you want it to be. IT'S YOUR MONEY TO DO WITH IT WHAT YOU WANT.

It just doesn't sit well with me, just seems odd. I know the employment office in my town was in what had been a funeral home, it's just odd. They've since built a new building across town, it was a hair salon for a while, and it's now a mexican restaurant, and that's odd too. Just odd to eat next to a large cemetery if you ask me. I never see cars there, it's probably a front for some drug dealers or something.
I wonder how many people stop and want to mail letters or buy stamps? The government should've removed the post office signage before it was sold.

The USPS does deliver to every physical address in the country... and truth is the USPS gave it's package business to UPS because they couldn't handle the logisticcs of it... Today there is a newly created business agreement between the "big three" that actually "shares" the responsibilities of moving small packages (spr's) and yes next day overnight!! The on time capability is actually equal to and in some cases better than Fed Ex... That includes tracking and signature confirmation for about half the cost... Don't buy into all the negativity that is floating out there... The USPS is still working hard to be better and flow with new technologies! Send your Mom her birthday card this time... We deliver for you!! Or maybe try to send it earlier next time instead of the day before?

When private companies take over who do you think will deliver that small town ? not enough profit for a private company there. Unlike private firms the postal service is required to share all it's wholly owned things such as years ago it had electronically transferred mail but had to share that with everyone because of antimonopoly laws.
Uhm, Someone, did you know that UPS and FedEx were started because the USPS could not deliver packages next to Anywhere USA? There isn't one single physical address that UPS or FedEx would not deliver to. Therefore your logic is faulty. Now they may reject a request for an early AM delivery next day depending on location, but suffice it to say if you order something from Amazon and want it overnighted to your home in BFE Arizona, it WILL get there next day.And for the record, the last time I tried (and paid for) using USPS special service - Next Day Air - to overnight a late Mother's Day card, it didn't arrive until three days later. I have not used the USPS since that happened about four years ago for anything other than the occasional birthday card for a loved one as usual. I will only rely on UPS and FedEx (in that order) for any special shipping requirements, and that definitely includes ordering online. And I sure don't miss the long waits in line either. the USPS, like a lot of other outdated government entities, needs be disbanded and be cast into nothing more than a footnote in America's past.
